During our expedition in 2018, we visited a well-known french expert on Pu'er tea – Olivier Schneider, in his tea warehouse in the southern province of Yunnan (Jün-nan) in the city of Jinghong (Jingchung) 景洪. Originally, we were supposed to taste one or two teas and catch the bus to Menghai (Meng-haj), but Olivier made us a cross- section of Pu'er teas from young "shengs" to those from the 80s, so we ended up spending more than five hours there. We were particularly impressed by a cake from the Nanmei region (南美), which we all purchased from him.
