Another dark puer produced by Yun Yuangu company, whose leaves come from Bada Shan Mountain. This time it is a harvest from old trees and a significant shift from the “Zaochun” cultivar, which we had the opportunity to taste in a tea “Oriental Peacock”. I was looking forward to this puer the most. But after tasting the sample from Mengsong, which had us chirping like swallows before moving south, now there was a sudden silence. It’s as if we were struck by a peace, a sense of self-absorption. Emptiness, Shunyata. Suddenly we didn’t need to describe our feelings or perceptions. Everything was clear. No heights, no depths. A wide desert. The smell of wet leaves reminded me of violets or lilies of the valley and a bit of a forest after rain. The taste was mild and woody, perhaps not very prominent of a shu puer, but clean without disturbing sensations.

Vynikající ovocnější shu pu’er. Vůně suchých lístků je dobrá až po zahřátí – smetana a hřejivé tóny suchého dřeva (piliny z ořezané tužky). Po prolévacím nálevu vyvstanou mohutné tóny smetanového likéru s tmavou čokoládou, mokrá lesní půda a maliník u lesní cesty, šípková marmeláda. Textura je úžasná – hutná, olejovitá, hladká, později měkká a šťavnatá (jako když jíte zralou švestku). Po čtvrtém nálevu až sirupová. Vydrží taková po celou dobu (tedy alespoň 8 nálevů). V chuti šípky, šípkový čaj, mišpule, pak i tropické ovoce, sladké koření, lesní ovoce, bylinný likér a na závěr griotka. Moje parametry přípravy: 3,6g čaje na 100ml (porcelánový gaiwan). Voda kupovaná Saguaro neperlivá, 100°C, krátký proplach a následně doba nálevů v sekundách 30; 30; 45; 60; 75; 90; 105; 165 Zatím nejlepší shu, co jsem měl. Hlavně kvůli textuře a šťavnatosti.
