Tea ancestor area – Gushu mix maocha 3# base
From 5,00€
Jingxiu village in Lincang region is a home to the so called 3200 year wild old tea ancestor – the tree from Camellia Taliensis species. This region is unlike other puer tea regions covered by these “yesheng” wild or “qiannian” thousand years old trees which are growing on both side banks of the Lancang river. It is unique in its taste profile without any astringency and bitterness. I have travelled to this place several times since 2016 when we first visited this Tea ancestor on our tea expedition. In 2017 we went a bit further and have found the Walnut walley where Mr. Li Chunfu has several gardens with old trees of Camellia sinensis var. assamica. His tea is clean and very powerfull with good aroma and aftertaste. This particular is a mixture of leaves from his Base n.3.
