This teapot comes from the ceramic city in China – Jingdezhen.
from Ms. Wen, whom I met in 2013. The teapot is made of special clay that has been fired at a low temperature. Its shard is so porous that after the first intake of water, it begins to seep slowly and soon flows gently. At first I thought it was a defect, but Mrs. Wen assured me that it was a natural phenomenon. Traditionally, rice is first boiled in such kettles, which clogs the pores, and later water can be boiled in it. It really works and the kettle can withstand not only hot coals, but also gas cooking. Pours fairly well. However, one flaw could be pointed out, and that is the knitted sleeve. I was already worried about her sisters. I want to solve it with handles from the man who personally makes them. But I will have to wait for those. The whole kettle is stored in a nice, high-quality box, so you don’t have to worry about it breaking. The perfect gift for a die-hard tea lover.
