Welcome wanderer!
Stop for a while and breathe. Sit and have a sip of tea. No rush. Tea needs time
…for you to explore the universe around, and the one within yourself.
My name is Michal Butor and I am an interpreter in chinese language since 2010, when I finished my 6th year of master degree of sinology at Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. Tea enthusiasm was introduced to me through my old good friend Tomáš Bučurič during our hitchhiking trip to Switzerland in the summer of 2003. Since then, tea paved me the way along my studies of chinese language and characters. My decision to discover tea plantations in China on my own in 2012 was one of the best decisions, but I would not make it without the support of my younger brother Matej, who live in Germany. However, to be a small tea seller in Slovakia is dedicted to a harsh economic life. It is more of a lifestyle, a wonderful lifestyle with a lot of good vibes. In 2015 I made my first tea expedition, and since then I have yearly guided dozens of people among tea mountains in Sichuan, Yunnan, Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangxi, Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces in China.
In this video you can see some shots from tea trip in 2015.
